Textile painter (Batik = Painting technique at the reserve)

Trained at the School of Fine Arts in St-Etienne where I live and work, I am a textile artist practicing the Batik technique, a reserve painting process where the drawings made with hot wax prevent the parts of the fabric from absorbing dyes. I worked for 10 years at the Opéra de Lyon as an assistant to the decoration director.

In general my work is inspired by my travels (Algeria, Morocco, Syria, Japan).

The meetings and exchanges that result from it give rise to projects, exhibitions, fashion shows etc ...
