Game over Lest's play !

GAME OVER - Let's play !

15 to 19 april > 2026

Salle des Cimaise - St Etienne

exposition organisée par le Collectif FU (fil utile) pendant le mois Saintéthique

Game over, LET’S PLAY!
The rules of the game set by the collective

- 11 players, 11 white T-shirts, 1 dice,
- 3 lists of words and a 33 m² space.

- White T-shirt: the common denominator that serves as the starting point for each proposal.

- Each person draws 3 words at random from each of the lists:
- Action to assign a gesture.
- Denunciation to identify one of the problems facing the textile industry.
- Postures to designate an action that could help reduce the consequences.

What remains is the future? (more details)

My draw:

Transport
Between Clermont-Ferrand (the FITE) and Saint-Étienne (where I live) lies the Richard de Bas paper mill in Ambert, Puy-de-Dôme, dating from 1463.
Proximity
Accompanied by Emmanuel Kerbourc’h, a master papermaker, I created a triptych by incorporating white T-shirts into the paper pulp in various ways.
The paper pulp is made from river water and white cotton, torn and pulped by mallets driven by a bucket wheel.
Stretching
From this union emerges, like a chrysalis, a silk veil painted in Batik, reminiscent of the shape of a T-shirt?
